LiftMaster 3240 and 3130 Screw Drive Garage Door Openers

The new LiftMaster® screw drive garage door openers (3240 and 3130) are specially engineered to run smoothly and quietly in the coldest and hottest temperatures. Our core innovation? We replaced the two-piece plastic liner and aluminum rail system with a stronger one-piece steel rail. So there are no parts to rub together, which can reduce friction and eliminate binding.

An electric thermistor automatically adjusts and increases force as it gets colder, ensuring optimal performance. The new unenclosed, no-lube drive system means less trapped dirt and debris to cause binding when it's warmer. It all adds up to superior performance, whatever the temperature. And it's easier to install - wire clips and predrilled holes on the rail make I.R. sensor wiring a snap.

Both models are equipped with Chamberlain's exclusive PosiLock® electronic locking system.
